Plan Your Entire Project To The Finest Detail

Our Flooring Planner tool covers everything you need to plan your next flooring project, including advanced options such as:

Waste Factor: This is the additional amount of flooring that is needed for installation. For most flooring types, you need about 10% extra than the area of the floor. So for a 1000 sqft. space, you’ll need 1100 sqft. of flooring, when accounting for the extra materials needed for trims and cuts during installation.

Material Box Coverage: Floors are usually sold in boxes that cover a specific area (usually 20 – 40 sqft. per box). Calculate how many boxes you will need for your project by inputting how much area each box covers (in square feet)
